It all began in 1995, when the founder, Michael Moore, hand-painted an image of a head with dreadlocks onto a blank bucket hat and a white T-shirt. Without the resources to print the design, it was put away—but the idea never faded. That image symbolized pride, individuality, and the power of standing out.

Nearly three decades later, in 2024, *Dread 2B Different Apparel* was officially born. Created to celebrate Black and brown culture, our brand is more than just a clothing line—it’s a testament to resilience, creativity, and self-expression. Every piece we design reflects the strength and beauty of our communities, from the struggles we face to the victories we claim.

What began as a small personal project has evolved into a movement. We’re here for those who choose to live boldly and authentically, whether by embracing natural hair, advocating for justice, or wearing their pride on their sleeve—literally.
